This project examines the concept of the ''alien'' (foreigner) in regard to the relationship of the European States with each other in terms of collaboration, political organization, culture, national and European identity, as well as the ''alien'' as an immigrant or refugee.
It is a sample survey, which was part of a broader journey, in which 714 people took part, from seven different countries: Greece, North Macedonia, Serbia, Hungary, Austria, Germany, and France.
Documentary summary:
How could reality be linked to myth? Something local with something global? A personal feature with a collective one? Science with society? Yorgos, a young person living and working in Greece, decides to "run" a self-funded research. He becomes the "everyman" and swims, runs, walks, cycles, and keeps traveling by any means necessary, being an alien amongst unfamiliar people, trying to be the "everyman" within the modern labyrinth of history's multiple repetitions.
Yorgos crossed seven countries, from the East to the West, aiming to submit his research results to the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
To what extent do we feel alienated amongst each other as people? As wandering refugees and immigrants? As citizens of the European Union?
